The next day in Knoxville, we went to brunch with Ben's family. Ben's sister Becky was so sweet to take Miller and entertain him while we finished eating.
After we ate, we went back to their hotel to open gifts with the Trusty family. I tried to get a shot of the three grandchildren and this was as good as it got. That is just what you get with a 1 year old and 2.5 year old.
Ben's mom opening the necklace we got here with the grandkids names.
James and Annemarie playing with James' train set.
All the Trusty's minus Dave (who was working back in Memphis).
That evening, my dad and stepmon had a dessert party. We got to see lots of friends that night.
My stepbrother, sister in law and nephew came to town for the holidays. We loved getting to spend time with them. Here my nephew, Silas, is entranced with Frosty on the wreath.
Miller was crabby by this point but look at those faces.
Dad always makes the house look so pretty.
This tree was gorgeous this year. Miller barely bothered it.
