Weekly Update: 24 weeks

I promise that there is a noticeable change from week to week in these view from the top pictures.

How far along: 24 weeks (Viability day, yay!)

Total weight gain/loss: holding steady at 20 lbs this week

Maternity clothes: I discovered that some maternity dresses that I bought months ago, I now fill out

Stretch marks: Same old, same old

Sleep: If I am super tired, I sleep great

Best moment this week: I had an OB appointment last Wednesday and everything is still checking out good. Pumpkin was a good boy this time and cooperated so we could hear his heartbeat and only kicked the Doppler once. The only downside is she confirmed my suspicions that my uterus is as high as it is, which is normal, I just have a short torso. This makes me nervous because that only means that we grow out or he goes up in my ribs soon.

Movement: We kept feeling him push out around my belly button and I am starting to feel things higher like he is stretching.

Food cravings: I am hating food but look forward to dessert every day.

Food aversions: I really just do not want food lately. Deciding what to eat is just a hassle.

Gender: Baby boy

Labor Signs: Goodness no

Belly Button in or out? I am pretty sure it will never pop.

What I miss: I miss not worrying about every twinge or lack of movement for 5 minutes.

What I am looking forward to: My mom and Ally are coming this week so I am super excited to see them and getting a lot done for the nursery.

Weekly Wisdom: I am coming to see more and more reasons how I am so lucky to have Ben as my husband and Pumpkins daddy (and not because it was just Fathers Day).

Milestones: 24 weeks is viability day, which means that God forbid something happen, Pumpkin could possibly survive if born now. It is something I definitely do not want to deal with, but it is just good to know we have made it this far.

Measurements: Chest- +.25”, Waist- +.5”, Hips- -.75”, Circumference- +.25”

I hope all the fathers out there had a wonderful Fathers Day yesterday. Pumpkin and I made Ben pancakes and gave Ben the Star Wars lunchbox I had hidden in my closet for 6 months and a card that we (I) made.

As I mentioned above, my mom and my cousin Ally are coming to visit me this week and we are going to be working on some of the nursery stuff. By this time next week most of the things you see will below will be turned into pillows, picture frames, wall decor, and a blanket. Wish us luck that we get it all done!
