Valentine's Day Pictures

Don't ask me why I still feel the need to take holiday pictures of my child. The first year is one thing since it is the first time they are celebrating that holiday but this year I have no idea. It stresses me out and then he does not cooperate but yet I have to do it. I guess I am a glutton for punishment, but look how cute these turned out.

I wish this one was more in focus because it looks like he is puckering up.

This demonstrates perfectly how I love all the little bits of him.

Blowing a kiss.

"Okay, mom, are we done yet?"

Trying to distract him with toys and snacks. Does not make for the best Valentine's pictures, but does make for a cute everyday picture.

I think this is my favorite from this whole shoot.

January Update

Here are just a few pictures of Miller from the month of January.

Daddy was hanging out with Miller and so proud that his boy was practicing his video game skills.

When we were back in Knoxville, we got a pretty decent snow. I bundled up Miller so he could go and try it out. I had to pick him up and stick him in the middle of it and then he would not touch it. Once he touched it, he was so confused as to why his hands were cold.

He is not supposed to touch the blinds (the blanket is to keep the room dark for his naps) but he is a rule breaker.

The next week we had an ice storm. The only good thing that came from it was that it looked pretty.

When we got home, a couple of days later my dad came to town for work. He brought our old carseat that was borrowed in Knoxville. It sat in our dining room and randomly he will go in and lounge in it.

New Years '13

New Year's Eve Ben and I went to eat at my favorite restaurant (since they are closed the next day for my birthday) and then to see a movie. We came home before Miller went to bed and did a little celebrating.

The next day we went to lunch with my parents and grandparents for my birthday and Ben and I went to see another movie.

We left on the 2nd to go back home. That night we had our second attempt to go to the light show at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. It was beautiful!

Miller liked it but got tired of being cooped up in his stroller eventually.

I still can not believe he fell asleep halfway through. All the trouble we went to, to go to this for him and he sleeps through it.

Miller and the Campbell girls checking out the gift shop window.

Of course a family picture.

The Rest of Christmas

I know, I am so behind. We got a little distracted so I am trying to play catch up.

The 26th of December, we always celebrate Christmas with my mom at her house. That is fitting since that is her birthday. Here is Miller's setup that morning.

"Santa" bought this tent back in the spring and has been patiently waiting to give it to Miller. Thank goodness he loved it!

4 of us in our matching PJs.

Mom got him a broom and it was his favorite toy. When he unwrapped it, he jumped straight up and ran to the kitchen to sweep. He came back a minute later for  the pan.

That night we went out to eat for mom's birthday. The next day we drove up to Ben's sister's house to hang out with his family. Miller got to make cookie's with his aunt Becky and cousin Annemarie.
